Make Up And Hair (MUAH) - Cover Girl Clean Pressed Powder for Sensitive Skin

by - December 26, 2012

In every girl's makeup kit, you'll always find a pressed powder.  I think I can still live without one, but I must have oil control films as substitute.  We can't really avoid "oily moments" throughout the day.  I actually envy Korean girls because a dewy and shiny face suit them.  They will still look pretty and charming.  Me?  Maybe I'll look wasted and my face may look like a pan ready to fry an egg.  :P

I'm currently using L'Oreal True Match face powder and already did a review about it.  In case you missed that, check it here.  So far, I'm loving it.  :)

My cousin is using Cover Girl for I think 2 consecutive times already.  I've also tried it a few times and here's my review.

First thing I noticed is the pretty much sturdy casing.  This pressed powder from Cover Girl has two types, one for Oil Control and this one, the green... is for Sensitive Skin.  There are other types, but I'm not sure if they are selling all of them here in Manila.

Now, the results.  The effect is very similar to my current pressed powder.  It's sheer and provides light coverage.  It gives you a fresh and natural look.  It's also fragrance-free and of course, another important thing... it doesn't clog pores.  As I have said, it's very light... perfect for touch-ups.

This shade is Natural Beige.  Here's a photo for you to see the actual product when applied on the skin.

Since this powder suits sensitive skin, expect that it would be gentle enough.  By the way, I think there's no sponge included.  I have to check it again though. :)

It lasts long, but then again, it will still require you to put some more if your skin gets a little greasy.

Price is almost 500 pesos.
