Skin Care 101 - iWhite Skin Whitening Facial Cream

by - June 02, 2013

After several days of trying out this product I received from iWhite (thanks again!!), here's my quick review about it.  I've been loving this multitasker goodie because of its 3 benefits!  Remember my post about their nose pack?  Yep, "iWhiter" ever since!  I love this brand not only because of the very affordable price, but also because I really find them incredibly effective.

Let's go straight to the review.

As I have said, this facial cream promises 3 benefits all in one tube... or in one pack because good news for those who are having or will have second thoughts about this product, you can buy a sachet instead.

Please don't expect that this will even out our skin tone right away just like a foundation or BB cream.

At first, I thought that it's gonna be greasy because it's a cream-based product but surprisingly, it doesn't leave a sticky feeling after application.  It doesn't turn to a powdery finish, but it leaves your face matte and fresh.  As for the scent, it's exactly the same as their Nose Pack.

Here are the 3 promises! :)

Whitening - first purpose.  I noticed that it makes the face instantly brighter.  Make sure to get a very small amount or else, you might scare people.  :P

I haven't noticed the whitening effect yet, since well.. you know.. it's kinda hard to do that on my skin.  :)  But, for sure, 2 bottles will be enough to start seeing a fairer complexion.

Protection - hooray for SPF!  I know that it's a small amount of sun protection, but it's totally fine with me because of the third and last benefit...

Makeup Base - it's not easy to find a primer with SPF.  I love using this because it makes my life easier when applying makeup.  It creates a smoother canvass.  If you're looking for a face primer, why still buy a separate one if this cream can do that job for you?

Other things to love about it:
  • Price - worth a try.  I think the sachet is less than 30 pesos.
  • Packaging - I hate skin care products placed in a container or anything where you need to user your fingers just to scoop it.  Tubes and sachets are better.
The only drawback I could think of:
  • it contains paraben

Maybe this cream will earn more fans if it controls oil too.  Oily skin is very common to most Filipinas because of our crazy crazy weather especially during summer.  How about making it 4 in 1?  :)

What do you think?  Would you consider trying this out?  Go for a sachet and tell me if it works for you too.

Good luck!
