Mizon Correct Concealer in Light Beige

by - October 30, 2017

Remember my latest Althea box?  I bought a bunch of concealers for another throwdown post.  I've tried all five of them and yes, I already know my top pick.  Anyway, that's for later.  Meanwhile, here's my review on Mizon's Correct Concealer.

I got Light Beige, which I find to be a little too light for me, but it's still a nice brightening shade.  I think the other option, Natural Beige would be a color match for me as well.

It costs 230 php on Althea site and a tube contains 9g of product.

It comes with a doe-foot applicator which is very common for liquid concealers in this type of packaging.  What makes it a bit different though is its chubby sponge tip.

Formula-wise, it has a thick consistency and it feels heavy on skin, which I don't dig too much.  It blends nicely though, but it sets fast.  It creates a nice foundation-like finish because of its medium coverage.

It could look a bit drying on the under eyes and there's minimal creasing after a few hours.

It doesn't have a glue-ish scent and a greasy feel as well

Lately, I've been letting my skin breathe by only using concealer to hide those dark circles and spots and setting it with powder.  I like this product for that purpose but my problem with it is how it overly brightens my face.  Maybe it's just because of the light shade like I said.

Also, I don't know if it's just because of how I buff it but I notice that sometimes, it looks like it's just sitting on top of skin.  It's quite the same even if I use a sponge, brush or finger. 😕

Overall, it's a nice brightening concealer and I still appreciate the coverage.  There's just something off about the formula but it's not something that I wouldn't be able to work with, so I'm still good. 😊
