Make Up And Hair (MUAH) - The Body Shop Tea Tree Blotting Tissues

by - July 07, 2013

Alright, you can sue me for not blogging since Wednesday.  HAHA!  Sorry, guys.  Anyway, this week, I'm aiming for at least 4 posts.   So, stay tuned!

Here's another product review and yep, another one related to oily skin.  Oil control sheets are a must-have because nobody wants a shiny t-zone.  I HATE it!  It irritates me... especially when I see my forehead glistening.  My case is worse perhaps, because I don't have a fair complexion, which makes it even more noticeable.  Eww.

I know powder can instantly kill that oil factory, but who wants a cakey face, right?  Layers of powder or foundation ain't cool!  It's a nightmare for me.  It seems that my skin can't even breathe.  Suffocating.  That's why I always opt for sheer and light coverage when it comes to face makeup.

Using oil control sheets is a foolproof way to get rid of the grease.  I had to buy a new one because I use it almost everyday.  When I was buying a birthday gift at The Body Shop, I saw this blotting tissues from their Tea Tree line.  It's interesting because as the label says, every sheet has tea tree formula.

As you can see, it's very thin and similar to wax paper.  It doesn't have any strong scent which is something we usually expect from tea tree oil based products.

And because it's really thinner than the normal oil control sheet, it is very easy to tear apart.  :(  Plus, it doesn't absorb all excess grease, especially when you use only one.  I had to get at least 2.

Oh well, at least I can still rely on the tea tree oil benefits.  But definitely, I won't repurchase.  :(  Price is around 129 or 149.  Sorry, I forgot. :)

I also got this Vanilla Bath & Shower Gel for free!  I haven't used it, but I super like the scent!

Like I said on my Just In post, I availed of The Body Shop's Rewards card.  I'm not a frequent customer, but I wanna try some of their skin care products.

The cool thing about this card is the Perkd app.  After getting your card, you can register and get digital or e-coupons.

You can earn vouchers for every stamp.

You can visit a branch or get more info and updates on their Facebook Page.
