So an hour ago, I was about to start another episode of The Haunting of Hill House, because hey, it's a Saturday night and it's really hard to find a reason not to procrastinate. However, I thought it would be a complete waste of weekend if I ever I don't get to put up something so I opted to open a new tab and finish this thing. Binge-watching will come later. 😚
Anyhoo, here's a Peripera lip tint from their Ink Velvet line.
I've tried two other variants already from the same brand and what's remarkable as I recall is the vibrant, long-lasting color. Then, they came up with a new formula, far from their water-based ones and I got interested to try it.
As you can see, they still used the same Peri Ink packaging. A cute bottle right there. 😊

Color
I got the shade Celeb Deep Rose, which I thought was a mauve, old rosy color, but it turned out to be like a muted red. I actually checked other swatches online and they seem to be different from mine. Nevertheless, the color payoff is amazing, which is not a surprise.
Application
The doe-foot applicator it comes with has a slanted shape and in good quality. I can easily create gradient lips or apply it fully.
Like I said, it's very pigmented so if you're going for stained lips, do only a 2 to 3 dots then blend. I also noticed that it transfers because it takes a few minutes to dry unlike water-based/gel lip tints. Better if you start with small amount.
I also find it very forgiving when I use it as a blush. It gives me enough time to fully blend it out and create a nice flush of color on my cheeks.
Formula & Finish
It has a sweet candy-ish scent and the consistency is mousse-like. It also doesn't dry down to a matte finish unless you apply only a tiny amount and go for gradient lips.
As you can see in the swatch below when I did a full lip, the finish is more on the satin side.
gradient lips
I love the velvety formula and the fact that even if it's a mousse, it still feels nothing when you have it on.
Lasting Power
The product transfers when I have it full on, but my lips would stay stained for hours even after drinking or eating. Well, unless it's something really greasy and I have to wipe my lips rigorously. If it's fully dried, it won't budge but there's still some fading.
I expect no less when it comes to Peripera's lasting power, but the catch is, I also have to deal with the drying part. 😬
Overall, I still find it very reliable. It works great as a cheek tint and a lip mousse. I just wish I had picked a more toned-down shade, but for gradient lips, it's a nice color to use.
