When I had my first facial last December, I was very sure that it will take some time before I go for another one.  My pain tolerance is so low, so I couldn't endure much of the pricking.  However, I was  annoyed at those dirt on my pores.  Ewwness.  That reason was just enough to made me rush for a facial after 4 months.

I heard a lot of good comments about Flawless Clinic.  Yep, it's a bit pricey, but I had a good feeling that it will be worth every cent.

I wasn't able to take pictures, but I will next time! :)

They recommended Flawless White Facial Advanced, 880 php.  All facials include pricking and mask, they said.  Honestly, this facial was not "sulit" for me because they didn't do the massage and laser "thing" (forgot the name, sculp??).  Sam, the staff that assisted me, suggested not to do that because I have small pimples that might react with that treatment.  I should have chosen other cheaper facial if that was the case. :(

Nevertheless, the service was nice.  Two thumbs up.  First, they will let you smell a relaxing ointment.  They even massaged my hands after putting it in warm pads.  After the pricking, they applied vitamin C on my face.  You will also get a quick massage for your back and shoulders.

The best part of this facial was the mask.  It was a cold, menthol-like, minty and toothpaste-like mask.  Very soothing.

How about the place?  Don't expect it to be quiet because the Trinoma branch is located near the entrance from SM North Edsa.  You also won't have much privacy because the clinic is just a one open space.

You can visit their site for more information about their services and products.

We've all heard about Anne Curtis' new endorsement.  Avon, one of the biggest direct selling companies here in the Philippines welcomed Anne to their family.

photo from Google :)

I got curious about their major product that's featured by Anne, so I bought one.  Luckily, I was able to buy this for only 259 php (intro price)!  Original price is I think, 399 php.  Yay!

This is in Happy Pink, a bright pink. :)

I love the sleek, metal case.  Shine Attract Lipsticks promises color and that extra shine.  The gel around the lipstick bullet will give you that weightless gloss.  Problem with this design is that, you will face a slight difficulty in applying the color.  Since it is in the middle, you have to make sure it lands on your lips properly.

It comes in several colors from pink to red!

I love how it gives moisture to the lips.  :)

So, why just color when you can shine? - Avon :)

Thanks to MetroDeal for the discount on laser tag tickets!  We got ours for 180 php only per 15-min. game and it's good for TWO! :)

This was my first time playing.  It's super FUN but tiring...HAHA!  A lot of kids was there to play and parents as well.

First, you have to go to the counter for the voucher checking and enlistment.  I'm not sure how many players they allow per game.  Then, you will be asked to wait in the Briefing Room.

Here, they will just let you watch a short video on how to play and to show some rules.

NExUS.. familiar. :P

Now, for the suit. :)  You can choose whatever team color.  It was so unfair that time because our team, the Blue team had 6 players only including the two of us.  Others had 8 and 11.  They insisted to be on the same team.

I can't really tell how the game went in detail.  I just tagged the Red and Green folks, that's the objective of the game, right?! HAHAH! :P

I was just lucky because I got the best area.  I was able to tag a lot at the back!  *abangers??!

Uncle Barney and Aunt Robin?
Chuck and Sarah?

The result?!! I ranked 5th and Kris was the 3rd out of 25 players!  Huh!

Look at my stats!! HAHAHA... Though after the game, I can't walk straight!  My legs hurt for two days!  It was super duper worth it!

gold bars? a creature? the mjolnir? :P

I just posted about my beach bag essentials last week.  Now, let's take a peek inside my everyday bag.  By everyday, I mean my office bag.  :)  I didn't take the actual photos of my stuffs though, so I just made a collage.

1. Wallet - where you can find all of my credit card receipts...HAHA!  No cash!  :(
2. Tissue - I don't usually bring a handkerchief.
3. Eyeglasses - Kris will get mad if I forget this because that would mean "Hello, migraine!" for me, but it's okay if I have my contact lens.  Poor eyesight. :(
4. iPhone - Communication is important.
5. Ray Ban Wayfarer - My best bud!
6. Wet Tissue - I put this inside a smaller black bag together with all of my toiletries.  I have two types of wet tissue, a regular one and another anti-bacterial to use when I need to remove my contact lens.
7. Medicine Box - I have band aid and other basic meds.
8. Headset - When I forget to bring this, it would be an instant bad day.
9. Toothbrush and Toothpaste - The first thing to find after eating when you have braces. :P
10. Liquid Soap - I put some of my Victoria's Secret Body Wash into a small container and used it as a hand soap.
11. Pen - For doodle time...HAHA!  My planner is in my laptop bag.
12. Stipple Brush - for retouching. :)
13. Makeup Bag - a.k.a. "kikay kit", but I don't like to call it like that.  :P
14. Lip Liners - Know more about 'em here and here.
15. Eye Liners - I have black and silver.
16. Lipsticks - I have two from MAC, both gifts, New Temptation and Bombshell.  Two again from Maybelline, one from Wet 'N Wild and a Baby Lips lip balm.
17. Oil Control Film - to control that extra shine.  Know more about it here.
18. Blush - from Clinique.
19. Sharpener - just a small one for my pencils.
20. Eyebrow Razor - I can also use this one for self-defense...HOHO!
21. Face Powder - check mine here.
22. Alcohol Spray - a bit OC.
23. Nail Cutter - I hate it when my nails get long!
24. Hair Elastics and Pins - for my messy bun.
25. Face Brush - just a small one that I use to get that matte lip look.  How?  Check my video here.
26. Concealer - thanks to whoever invented this!  :P  I'm using one from E.L.F., check it here.

Lastly, my ID and keys!  So, that's it!  I squeeze all of these into my bag...HAHA!  Of course, I also have a "lesser" version of this for my WEEKEND bag.  I usually leave all the extras to fit that smaller bag.

Hope you like this post!  Watch out for the next one, coming these next few days.  I'll feature some of my teammates to share their.....uhm........... well, let's just say..........."things".  HAHA, I'll let you guys to just wait for it. :)  Clue?  A common topic in a magazine, your top "chorva" things! :P

Please feel free to click the links to know more about each stuff above. :)

It is almost halfway til end of summer even though it's not pretty much obvious because the heat here in the Philippines can really fry an egg.  *sighs

And with that said, I still haven't landed my feet on beach sands or even pool sides!  Poor me!  I'm looking forward to one this May and another in July (no typhoon please!).

So, are your bags ready for summer?  Let me help you out a little with packing.  :P

1. Beach Bag - Find one that's large enough to carry all of your items.  One more thing to consider is the material.  I don't like the transparent plastic ones, but its really beach-friendly.  Its okay to go for something that is water resistant.

2. Swimsuit - Go and pack as many as you can...HAHA!  But for me, I'm okay with one per day.  One tip when looking for swimsuits, don't buy it if you are not comfortable wearing it.  Save yourself, okay? :)

3. Beach Hat - Of course, to protect that pretty face.

4. Cover Ups - Don't forget to buy one aside from several swimsuits.  This will make you feel more relieved specially when walking around.

5. Beach Scarf - You can also use this as a cover up, but most importantly as a towel to lie on.

6. Slippers - You can also use flat sandals.

7. Sunnies - This is to protect your eyes and to cover that bare face.  When you're at the beach, I'm sure you don't use much makeup.

8. Lip Balm - Your lips might be hurt too, so give 'em some love.  You might want to go for a lip balm with tint, so you can still have a little color on your face.

9. Earphones - Boosting your relaxation to 25%.  :P

10. iPod/iTouch/iPhone/iPad - Whatever music source you have there...HAHA!  Okay, let's say iPhone because I know you can't leave your mobile.  Yep, of course, I also know that you want to be Twitter-ready.

11.  Sunscreen - You can leave your toothbrush instead of this.  Oh yep, just kidding.  You can also buy a separate one for the face if it is just good for the body.

12. Hair Elastics - Trust me, you'll look for these!

13. Concealer - I'm not saying that your makeup stuff are limited to what you can see here, but I just included what I think are very important.  And a concealer is one of them.  Bring your normal makeup kit for a night out look.

14. Cheek Tint - Go for any.  I chose this because it's very easy to apply and you won't be needing a brush.  Cream based is also good because it stays longer.

15. Powder - You can replace this with oil control films.  This is to help you stay fresh after that beach side shopping.

16. Camera - You don't want to miss a great view and moments with your friends and family.

17. Small Pouch or Wallet - To place your cash, card and phone.

That's it!  Of course, I know you have a lot of other stuff to bring, but you don't have to "OVER-BRING".. (oh my, is that even a word?) Anyway, for sure you get the idea!

How about you?  What are your beach bag essentials?
