Looking for freshly cooked pasta and brick-oven pizza that will not hurt your budget?

Ravioli is basically a filled pasta served in sauce or even broth.  This is cool when you want to break away from your usual spaghetti, macaroni, penne or lasagna.

We ate at Mall of Asia branch.  They have two other branches, at Glorietta 3 and Robinson's Place Ermita.
A view inside...

The place was really nice... simple, clean and white.  You can even watch how they make your meal from scratch.  :)

Before we go to the actual food... a burp guide trademark.. iced tea review. :P  They don't have bottomless, just single serving.  You can choose between red and lemon iced tea.

I thought its just Lipton Red iced tea, but its not.  Its not too sweet compared to Tokyo Tokyo.

Now... for the drooling part. :)

One of their best sellers... (210 php)

My Rating

  • Taste: 5 stars - There's nothing else I can say.  Perfect pasta, sauce and filling.
  • Serving & Presentation:  5 stars - If I'm not mistaken, there were 9 pieces of ravioli on each serving.  Good for sharing! :)
  • Value:  5 Stars - Its really affordable.  All Ravioli dishes cost 210 php.
Overall: 5 burps

Take a look inside... :)  Whew!  I still can't get over from that sauce!  I bet you'll wipe your bread on that...HAHA! :P

12 inches (280 php)

My Rating
  • Taste: 5 stars - I know this is a simple type of pizza, but I was really surprised how it tasted that good. :)  The crust was soft, you'll even love eating it as is.   Noticed that black spots?  Cooking pizza in a brick oven really has a flavorful effect.  The tomato was so juicy and not dry.  The basil added a little Italian flavor.
  • Serving & Presentation: 5 stars - They serve 12 inch pizza.  This can be consumed by 3 tummies at most. :P
  • Value: 5 stars - Pizza price varies by flavor.  This one is the cheapest, most expensive is the Italian Sausage and Bacon.

Overall: 5 burps

This is making me hungry...HAHA! :P

By the way, they have 5% service charge.

I really recommend Bistro Ravioli.  Try to eat here when you're craving for pasta and pizza.  Your money will not be wasted. :)

Check out full menu here.

Five Cows resto is famous for their mouthwatering ice cream and desserts.  But for now, lets check out one of their rice meals and pastas.

I ordered an Apple shake, but I did not like it that much.  I think it didn't contain milk, just purely apple.
95 php

I really wanted to eat chicken, but because I love fish fillets...

195 php

My Rating
  • Taste: 4 stars - Good enough.  White sauce was really nice and the rice with basil was really delicious.
  • Serving & Presentation: 4 stars - The fillet was a bit small, but they're generous on rice.  :)
  • Value: 3 stars - I suggest for you guys to just try their other dishes if you really want to fill up your tummy.
Overall: 3.7 burps

Now for the pasta....

My Rating
  • Taste: 4 stars - Almost perfectly yummy, but tasted a bit plain.
  • Serving & Presentation: 4 stars - Good for one hungry tummy.
  • Value: 3 stars - I think pasta is not their specialty, but worth the try though.
Overall: 3.7 burps

Thumbs up for the ambiance!  Felt like eating in a modern barn... HAHA :P

I'll definitely come back for the ice cream!  Wait for Five Cows Burp Guide Revisited post soon. :)

I came by Etude last Sunday at their Market Market branch and looked for something that I can use to control that extra shine on my face.  I thought about buying oil-control films.  That's the fastest and most foolproof way.  But then...

298 php

...why not try this anti-shine mist.  :)  Dr. Oil is one of Etude's skin care and makeup collection for..well, obviously oily skin.

Mine is not that oily, actually its a bit dry.  But still, we cannot avoid those "oily moments" specially during summer.

How to use?

Option 1: Under makeup

1. Before applying any makeup, spray all over the face.

2. Wait to dry and you can start applying makeup.

Option 2: Over makeup

1. When you feel that there's a need to retouch your makeup, spray all over the face.

2. Wait to dry then, you can apply your face powder or foundation.

REMINDER: Don't spray too close/too near from face.  You might feel a slight burning sensation.

This mist basically absorbs oil but keeps your face moisturized.  Its like a primer for makeup.  Its not that super effective, I give it 3 out of 5.  For me, its best used for option 1 above.  For option 2, you can go for oil-control films.  I just love it because its a bit refreshing.

Went to Sentosa with a hangover! HAHAHAH.. :P

We reached Sentosa from Vivo City through the Boardwalk.  You can also ride a bus, MRT, cable car or taxi.

We were not able to go all around, but its okay.  We tried one attraction and took some pictures. :)

There's a 1 SGD entrance fee for the ticket by the end of the Boardwalk.

Resorts World Sentosa hosts luxury hotels, dining and shopping spots and the famous Universal Studios.

Siloso Point is the home of Underwater World and Dolphin Lagoon.

Beaches include Siloso Beach, Palawan Beach and Tanjong Beach.  Catch Songs of the Sea, try watersports and spa here.

Imbiah Lookout is a cluster of different attractions such as zipline, 4D and 3D, Nature Discovery, Tiger Sky Tower and many more.

Serapong hosts a Golf club and more hotels.

The only attraction I tried was the Tiger Sky Tower.

15 SGD - Adult : 10 SGD - Kids 3-12 yrs old

Its open until 9 PM.  Don't miss this! Its super amazing up there!  Glad we had to ride it night time because the lights were breathtaking! :)

Don't worry.  You don't have to circle around just to see the whole view because its... wait for it................................keep waiting............................................................ROTATING! HAHA!

How tall?  131 meters above sea level.  You'll catch a view all around Sentosa and even a bit of Malaysia and Indonesia!  Woah!  I'll upload the video soon!

Next... the frustrated Merlion, HAHA.just kidding!  :)  The real Merlion is located at Marina Bay.  This is more like the dragon on Dragon Ball Z.  :P

Just one taxi ride and we're headed to Marina Bay.

Loving the view in Marina Bay Sands Hotel..... awwww. :)

Enjoy a cup of Starbucks just in front.  Too bad, I did not see the REAL Merlion. :(

That's it for Day 3.  A disaster happened after... someone lost his iPhone, but its okay.  He has Siri now. Yay!

Visit Sentosa's website here.

Mercatto food trip on a Friday night! :)  Of course, I won't miss my favorite dessert treat...MICHIKO! oops.. I mean MOCHIKO!  HAHA :P

I think these are new flavors, Cookie Dough and Milk Tea.  Lets see what's inside... :P

I love this mochi!!! Tasted like real Milk Tea.  Because of that, I want to find Milk Tea ice cream.  It has those little black pearls at one side.  A must try indeed! :)

Cookie Dough mochi consists of French Vanilla ice cream with a small cookie at the bottom.  Kids will love it!  Very similar to cookies and cream, except that its separated and not mixed. :)

More mochi flavor soon please!!! :)

Check out my previous Mochiko post here.

November of last year, I had my first Happy Lemon experience.  Even though I'm not a milk tea fanatic, I enjoyed my drink and would like to try more.  :)

I did a quick trip to Trinoma to buy some stuff and meet my sisters there.  They asked me to buy them Happy Lemon drinks because they were curious as well.  :)

This branch is located at the Cinema Level, just beside Timezone.  As usual, "blockbuster line". :P

Yakult Green Tea , Coffee with Rock Salt and Cheese and Cocoa with Rock Salt and Cheese

At first, my Yakult drink tasted a bit weird...HAHA!  I liked Cocoa RS&C more!  It's chocolatey-flavor was just fine.  Coffee RS&C?  Hmm.. so-so. :P

Meet my sisters...

You can check out my previous Happy Lemon post here.

FB Site: http://www.facebook.com/HappyLemonPh

I heard that their newest branch is in SM Megamall.

Burp Guide goes to Singapore... HAHA! :P  This is my second post on my food tripping in SG.

This Food Republic branch in Vivo City looked super nice.  The interior was kinda old China town for me. :)

I had to walk everywhere because there's a lot to choose from!  From dumplings to noodles...to rice meals and so much more.

Fried Rice...again. :) (4.something SGD)

Siomai & Shrimp Dumpling (3.something SGD each)

Noodles (5.something SGD)

Mixed Rice

Lemon Iced Tea

My fried rice tasted good!  Yang chow???  :)  I ate it with siomai and shrimp dumpling.  That would be... 5 burps for me!

I was looking for fried noodles, but I can't find one.  I ordered noodles but..... its not that good.  I left it almost untouched, sorry. :(

Mixed rice was ordered by Poy. I tried a couple of the squid rings and its fine, just a bit chewy for me. :)

Lastly, don't forget to try the lemon iced tea!  Its so refreshing!  :)

Food trip, mall hopping, cable car ride, shopping and night life... say hello to my second day in Singapore.

I really insisted to ride the bus and MRT.  We headed to Plaza Singapura and bought Charles & Keith shoes!  :)  I love SALE!

Next... Vivo City.  We had our lunch at Food Republic.  Check out my burp guide post for the food! :)

From Vivo City, you can walk to HarbourFront Towers for the cable car ride.  I really enjoyed the view up here.

With just one MRT ride, we went to Orchard Road...shopaholics love this place!  My eyes popped when I saw H&M store.  O_o  I bought two dresses.  :)

We went home for dinner and to prepare for a night out.  We went to Zouk bar.  While entering the place, I already saw drunk guys and girls along the street...HAHA!

Hooray for Ladies' Night Wednesday!  Free entrance ticket for me! :)  The ticket was inclusive of 2 drinks.

I just have to say... the crowd was really crazy!  It was my first time there so not sure if its just a normal Wednesday night.  There's a dance floor and two bars.  We had orange vodka first then few shots of tequila.  Then, we had 3 pitchers of Redbull vodka!

Music is not that okay for me.  They played old songs...HAHA!  I also heard some Chinese and Korean.  Its weird because there are some folks dancing with steps that looked like interpretative for me.  :P

That was one crazy night to end my day 2.

Can you guess what did I do for day 3? HOHO... :P

I spent my Christmas vacation slash company shutdown in Singapore... BIG thanks to Poy!  :)

Day 1 in Singapore was all about Universal Studios

It was my first international flight and I didn't know what to do actually...HAHA!  It was a long two hour flight for me since I was alone.  All I did was... SLEEP...PLAY on my iPhone...SLEEP...PLAY on my iPhone...

First meal... Burger King!  We headed home, wait... I can't remember the exact place.  Hmm.. its around Little Road, near Tai Seng Station, Oasis Garden condo.  Did I get it right?! :P

My first day in SG was for Universal Studios!  This place is super awesome!  Words can't describe how much I enjoyed it! :)  Weee!

Its just so huge!  You'll love every corner inside!  Prepare your feet and legs because you will be walking and walking...HAHA!

First zone... Ancient Egypt.  First ride... Revenge of the Mummy.  It is a high speed indoor roller coaster with super cool effects.  I almost died here.  I really did not expect that it would be that...ahm... scary.  But don't mind me, I'm really a coward for such rides...HAHA!  Don't miss this when you visit USS. :)

Look at us!  Last row, right side. HAHAHA

You can buy your pictures for 19 SGD.  It is an 8R-size photo placed in a folder-type frame.  Almost every ride has this.

Its time for lunch!  We ate at SCI-FI City zone, beside the Transformers ride.  Its a cute and BLUE cafeteria.  Looked like the super futuristic place I'm seeing on TV.  The rice (pesto I think) tasted good.  The chicken fingers were a little dry for me.  Sausage or hotdog (whatever) was chewy.  What tasted best was the fish fillet!

Since I mentioned SCI-FI City already, here are some pictures at that zone.  Too bad I was not able to try the Transformers 3D ride.  The waiting time was 1 hour minimum. :(

Moving on to Madagascar zone, my favorite!  I was excited to see Alex!  HAHAHA... :P
Enjoy the river boat ride with the Madagascar gang!

Again, you can claim your photos for 19 SGD.  There is another dining spot just beside the Souvenir shop.  Every zone in USS has its own themed cafeteria and collectible stores.

Don't miss out the Boogie show.  Alex and friends will go out for a quick picture taking.  Weeee...so happy!  :)  I enjoyed watching the Penguins as they danced, adorable!

Boogie Wonderland!

It suddenly rained, so we had to stop somewhere for a while.  We landed on Far Far Away.  Sounds familiar?  :P

We tried the Enchanted Airways, a roller coaster...outdoor this time.  We were still in the ride when it rained again.

We headed to Shrek and Fiona's castle for the 4D adventure. :)  Its a fun ride, I was smiling all the time.

Watch the Pinoy Rockafellas at New York zone.

I was not able to explore Hollywood and The Lost World.  That's fine because now, I have reasons to go back, right?! :P

By this point, I was contemplating whether to ride the Battlestar Galactica.  I had to think twice, no... I can't count the times I hesitantly thought that I can ride that one hell of a roller coaster!

Choose your side.  HUMAN or CYLON.  These two coasters are intertwined, like a race or better yet...battle.

Get ready because they will accelerate, drop, twist and turn.  The only scary thing about HUMAN is the first drop part.  CYLON has more drops and twists since it is a suspended roller coaster.  I had to take off my shoes! :)

Beware: Its a total suicide! HAHAHA (2nd row from left)

That's it!  Time to leave USS and buy some souvenirs!  Don't forget to drop by the Hershey's store!  It is just outside the theme park.  :)

I kidnapped Shrek and he's with me now. HAHAH :P Thanks Poy!

How about you guys?  What's your favorite ride in USS?  How was your Galactica experience?  Tell me about it. :)

You can find more information at their website below such as operating hours, ticket price, packages, etc.
