Hey, guys!  I just want to share this new skin care product that I've been using for a couple of days  already.  It's called Sunflower Oil from Human Nature.  It's a shop that sells a lot of organic and 100% natural beauty products.  I won't be doing a review today because as always, I want to try it for some time first, maybe few weeks would do.  I'll share the results to you after that, so stay tuned! :)

Noticed my new title tag?  It's called Just In!  I thought of doing hmmm.. let's say a sneak peek of what I have recently purchased or received as gifts (yes! you can give me gifts! HAHA!).    I'm not sure though if I should include my new fashion finds.  What do you think?  For now, let's stick to beauty and skin care products.

Have a great weekend! Muah! <3

Hello, friends!!   Just recently, I received a gift from iWhite.  I'm very excited to use them!  Well, actually, I'm already trying the Facial Cream.  But I'll stop my story here.  HAHA!  I'll be doing a separate post for each product that I got.  So, please watch out for that. :)

I'm a big fan of iWhite products especially their Nose Pack.  You can read my review here.  Cheers to them as well because they are pro-environment.  Love their paper bag! <3

Syempre lukot talaga para realistic.  HAHA!  (excuse ko lang yon)

I'll do a review after a few weeks and share the results to you.  Bye!! :)

Thank you, iWhite!!! <3

Freshly cooked waffles, turning to a perfect brown in front of you.  And let me add the luscious fillings oozing out.  *sighs  Sounds like heaven already. :P

You can choose a single spread of chocolate, peanut butter, jam or cream cheese.  If you're still undecided, go for their combos.  Our favorite is chocolate peanut butter.  Simple but perfect combination.  They also serve hot drinks.

If you're rushing to school or work and didn't take your breakfast, this is the ultimate solution.  It's one of the quickest snacks you can have.  Honestly, we can't get enough of these precious waffles.  We buy one or two whenever we get the chance.  You can visit them at SM Megamall (foodcourt) or Trinoma (in front of Tokyo Tokyo).

Have it really really toasted.  It's better when it's a little bit crunchy. :)

Really addicting!  I even ditched my popcorn and munched these babies instead when we watched a movie last time.  Please try it!  With less than 50 pesos, you get to enjoy these very satisfying waffles.  :)

Quick.  Simple.  Delicious.

Like them on Facebook for more updates and info.

An eyeshadow palette like this one has been in my wish list ever since I became passionate about makeup.  Lakas lang maka-feeling makeup artist.  HAHA!  One downside is that, it's not easy to bring it anywhere.  Well, unless you have a pretty sturdy train case because placing it inside a bag will make it a bit prone to breakage.

BH Cosmetics is a U.S. brand that is known for high-quality (at the same time, affordable) and absolutely pigmented makeup palettes.  They have up to 120 colors, covering the neutrals, smokey, glamorous, and even shimmery.

They have endless spectrum to choose from and it comes in a sleek packaging.  It will help you create the professional-looking eye makeup.

I bought the 88 color palette in Matte and Shimmer online and had it delivered to my Tita's U.S. Address, since shipping to Manila is very costly.  I decided to personally use Matte instead and sell the other one in our shop.  Let me advertise it here!  HAHA!  It's 800 pesos only!

Actually, I'm not using this often since I still have my other eyeshadows (mostly neutral).  I'm happy about the color combinations.  From simple to sultry browns to gorgeous greens and purples.  It also has the pretty pinks and refreshing blues.  Everything covered!  It really looks like a watercolor.  Let's try to do an art project, shall we???  :P

Even though this is a matte palette, I noticed that it still has a few of pearly, shimmery and metallic colors.  In fact, that's not a problem at all.  It's a plus point because I get to have a little variation.  :)

See how pigmented it is?  It's a bit powdery, so you have to tap off the excess before applying.  Even if the color is already vivid, you might still need the help of your eye primer because it somehow gradually disappears when you start to blend.

Some has a little shimmer so, you can combine this with the really matte ones.  Since I don't have a fair complexion (yes, I accept it, fine, thank you), the bright colors don't look that good on me.  I still have to explore more on that.  But I think the sultry browns would be perfect!  :)

There are other brands that offer such palettes, but I'm happy with my purchase from BH Cosmetics.  A very good choice for my first ever feeling-makeup-artist eyeshadow.  All I have to do is to choose, mix, blend and have fun creating masterpieces that will make my eyes pop. :)

What do you think?

P.S.
Visit our shop here if you're interested in buying the 88 Color Palette Shimmer Eyeshadow. :)

Singapore hawkers in Manila?  Yes, found one in SM Megamall.  I think they renovated the old Orchard Road restaurant and named it as My Singapore Food Street.

photo from their Facebook page

The basic dishes were there especially Chicken Rice.  The place looked like a food court, a very typical set up in Singapore's hawker centers.

You won't be surprised about the prices, very affordable.  They also serve unlimited Hainanese rice and soup in their chicken rice meals.

75 php

Let's start with Milo Dinosaur.  Is this famous in Singapore too?  :)

195 php

It's delicious too, but I'd still prefer the other restaurants I've tried.

Hokkien Noodles (99 php solo)

The seafood taste was strong.  Wrong choice. :(  By the way, they serve some Thai dishes too.

175 php

Perfectly cooked!  (although late)

Go ahead and visit My Singapore Food Street!  I recommend it because of the nice selection and reasonable price.  The best alternative to the usual Pinoy food court, right?! :)

Visit their website and like them on Facebook for more updates.

Puerto Galera, Caliraya Laguna then for this month... hello, Canyon Cove Batangas!  I'm the happiest when I travel.  Even if it's tiring and causes sleep deprivation sometimes, for me, it's always worth it.   I can't wait for my Boracay 2013 trip.  Yay!

Since this is a Touchdown post, allow me to bombard you with pictures. :)

We bought vouchers from Metro Deal and Ensogo.  Reservation was easy, but a friendly reminder... they are always fully-booked during weekends.

It's very accessible and you can even commute by bus and tricycle.  We took the Cavite route (not SLEX) and we got there for about 2.5 hours.

They said that we're not allowed to bring food, but actually, they didn't check our bags.  Just pack your lunch or dinner since theirs were a bit pricey and really not worth it.  Even our free breakfast buffet was not good at all.

Large pools and the stunning landscape will welcome you.  Just a few tumblings and you'll reach the beach.

5 stars for the rooms!  Comfy bed!

Fave part of the room! #SarapMagEmote

Now, let's go to the beach.. each... lalalalala...

The beach was not crystal clear and not really clean as well, but the sand was okay.  It got better the day after.

Sun-kissed?!! :P

Free Kayak!!

Night swimming until 9PM.

It was a fun day with the fambam.  I can't say if I'll go back, but I really recommend Canyon Cove if you're looking for some beach lovin'.  It's the nearest from Manila... I think.  HAHA!  You can also drop by Tagaytay and go for a quick food trip.  Escape from the intense heat for a while and take a dip at Nasugbu. :)

Rushing your makeup every morning when going to work or school is normal, but you can avoid that by following these tips.  Sometimes, the more you rush things, the more you tend to mess everything up.  You don't even have to spend at least 15 to 30 minutes for your everyday makeup routine.  This video will show you how you can lessen the time you spend when doing your makeup. :)

No. 1 - Use a big mirror.

You can easily spot uneven applications by using a big and clean mirror.

No. 2 - Use small and light strokes.

This is true for eye shadow and eyeliner.  Trust me.  Blending will be easy-breezy.

No. 3 - Even if you're in a hurry, don't freak out and don't rush.

You only have 10 minutes left to do your makeup.  You're already late.  But still, don't freak out.  :)  The least thing you don't want to happen is to re-do your makeup.

No. 4 - Apply small amount of product.

It's easier to build up the color than removing it.

No. 5 - Clean your brushes beforehand.

Wiping off the residues from your brushes everytime you use them can take up time already.  So, make sure they are always clean.  You can do that in your free time.  :)

No. 6 - Use a primer.

Using a face primer makes the application a lot easier because your skin becomes smoother.

No. 7 - Don't just rely on your brushes.  Use your fingers.

Cream-based products are often difficult to blend.  By using your fingers, the makeup will somehow melt resulting to an easier application.

No. 8 - Organize your makeup.

Finding a single eyeliner or lipstick from your cluttered desk or makeup bag can sometimes eat up one minute or two already.  Make it a habit to organize them.

Another tip would be, sticking to your regular makeup look and experiment later.  Since you want to save time, go for something that you're used to already.  For example, a neutral eye makeup that's so easy and fast to create.  Let's say that it's just for everyday look, so avoid doing complicated things to your face.  :)

How about you?  What can you add here?

Hope this helps.  Good luck!

Here's another video I edited out of the latest one that I uploaded.  If you haven't seen that, click here.  I discovered this from one of Michelle Phan's tutorials.  This is one way of maximizing your eyeliner pencil... very helpful!  We all know that using a pencil to line the eyes can be difficult sometimes.  The solution... melting it and using an eyeliner brush instead.

With just 2 easy steps, you'll have a gel/cream liner finish.  What you'll need is something that can produce heat or steam.  Obviously, anything that can melt the product.  In my case, a laptop fan! :)

Here's the video... enjoy!

Just make sure to stop the "melting" when you're starting to see some shine.  That means that it's already soft enough to pick up with your brush.  If you're planning to melt your liner with a hair blower, remember to use low heat setting.

Go ahead and try it with your gel liner too.  If it gets a little hard or dry, don't throw it away.  You can revive it using this steps.

Some photos below. :)

Good luck!

*excuse my dirty laptop HAHA :P

Before the long weekend, we had a very spontaneous dine out.  It's my third time at Tong Yang and I must say so far, that it's the only buffet place that can make me sing the Korean Beef Song.  HAHA!

It was another boys night out.  I went with Roy, Kim and Kris.  Jupiter branch is only a quick drive   from office and I prefer it than Megamall branch.  DEFINITELY!  Why?  Because they serve unli MEAT!  (I have to emphasize that.... very important. :P)

Tong Yang is a shabu-shabu slash yakiniku type of buffet.  For just around 600 pesos, you can have unlimited seafood, meat, dessert, dumplings and drinks (plus beer).

Spicy Chicken Soup and Sinigang Soup

Basically, you just throw everything in. :P

Here they are!!!! Pile of Shredded meat!! Oh my! My fave here is the reddest of them all! HAHA!

little selection of sushi and maki

I like to wrap my precious beef with fresh lettuce.  Parang nakikita ko lang sa Korean Shows. :)
Massiseoyo!

sorry, looks messy :P

Another reason to love Tong Yang is because they have cilantro (wansoy).  Try their satay sauce.  Perfect for grilled meat and seafood.

Their ice cream was really really good!  Here are some photos taken last year, my first visit.

They have various seafood, but sadly, salmon is not one of them. :( (salmon belly only)

Leo and KM

Satisfied... as always. :)
